The IrNUT (Iranian Network at the University of Twente) is thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all students, faculty, and staff for our Yalda Night celebration!
You’re invited to the Yalda Night celebration, honoring a 6000-year-old Iranian tradition. Considered the longest night of the year, Yalda Eve is the night when Iranians celebrate the birth of Mithra, the goddess of light. Get ready for a night of joy, warmth, and enchantment filled with:
๐ฅ Welcome drinks and snacks: Kick off the night with a welcome drink and enjoy Yalda-themed treats and our tasty snacks.
๐ถ Music & Dancing: Get ready to dance under the Yalda Night sky as we play music that will lift your spirits and make the celebration unforgettable.
